What's Happening
Hydroponic lettuce nutrient availability depends on fertilizer formulation chemistry. Conventional fertilizers provide immediately available ions (NO3-, PO4³-, K+), while organic fertilizers require microbial mineralization that creates delayed and variable nutrient release patterns, potentially causing transient deficiencies during rapid growth phases.
