Peace lilies are famous for being drama queens - they dramatically droop and wilt when thirsty. This is actually an adaptive survival signal. Unlike most plants that show subtle signs, peace lilies lose turgor pressure and flop over to visually communicate water needs. Chronic underwatering causes brown crispy tips and cumulative stress damage.
