Step 2: Warm It Up Gradually

  1. Move the pot to your warmest room, ideally 70-85°F.
  2. Keep it away from cold windows, drafty doors, and AC vents.

  4. Maintain this temperature consistently. Temperature fluctuations confuse the plant and delay emergence.

Step 3: Increase Light Exposure

Once the corm is warm, it needs light to fuel growth. But ramp up gradually — sudden bright direct sun burns emerging leaves.

  1. Place the Alocasia in bright indirect light (east-facing window or a few feet back from a south/west window).
